基本情况
重庆车辆检测研究院有限公司（以下简称重庆车检院）原名重庆嘉斯特质量检测有限公司。2003年12月，按照重庆市委、市府打造“中国汽车名城”、“世界摩托车之都”和“中国汽摩零部件配套基地”需要，为更好地为重庆市和全国的汽车、摩托车、助力自行车、通用发动机、火车零部件等产业提供技术服务，由重庆市政府整合相关社会资源组建而成。主要从事汽车、摩托车、助力自行车、通用发动机、火车零部件等产品的质量检测、试验研究、技术咨询、标准制订、出口认证、进口商检、设备研发、司法鉴定等业务。
重庆车检院目前拥有两个国家级质检中心和一个省级工程技术中心：国家客车质量监督检验中心、国家摩托车质量监督检验中心和重庆市电磁兼容工程技术研究中心。重庆车检院是重庆市科委搭建的重庆市大型科学仪器资源共享分中心，重庆国家信息产业基地汽车电子公共检测评价中心，拥有国内外公开发行的科技期刊《客车技术与研究》。重庆车检院还是中国客车学会副理事长单位，全国通用发动机分标准委员会主任委员单位，全国四轮全地形车标准委员会副主任委员单位。
重庆车检院坐落于重庆市北部新区汇星路1号，机场高速路与内环快速路在此交接。占地面积近100亩，试验设施面积5.5万㎡，拥有各种设备、仪器700余台套。现有员工180余人，其中高级职称60余人，中级职称近60人，享受政府特殊津贴等各类专家20余人，博士、硕士近50人，博士、硕士研究生导师6人。 Chongqing Vehicle Test & Research Institute（CVTRI in short）is the formerly known as Chongqing Justice Quality Test Co., Ltd. According to Chongqing Committee and government’s need of creating China’s Auto City, Worldwide Motorcycle Center and China's automobile and motorcycle parts and components support base, to provide better technical services for Chongqing and national’s automobile, motorcycle, bicycle assistance, general motor, train parts and other industries, it is established integrating related social resource by Chongqing government in Dec 2003. The institute is mainly engaged in vehicle quality inspection, test research, technical advice, standard setting, export certification, equipment development, judicial appraisal and other services.
CVTRI has two national quality test center and one provincial engineering technology center, They are national auto quality test center, national motorcycle quality test center and Chongqing electro-magnetic compatibility technology center. CVTRI is the sharing of resources centers of Chongqing scientific large instruments established by Chongqing Science and Technology Commission(CSTC) also, and has domestic and international public offering of scientific and technical journals, Bus Technology and Research. CVTRI is the vice president unit of the China bus association and the chairman committee of the national general motor branch standard.
CVTRI is located in No 1，Huixing Road，New North Zone，Chongqing. The airport highway and inner ring road is connected here. CVTRI covers an area nearly 100 mu, the construction area is nearly 55,000 ㎡, and has all kinds of equipment and apparatus more than 700 sets.The company employees are more than 180 people, senior titles more than 60 people, middle titles nearly 60 people, special government allowances enjoined and other experts more than 20 people, doctorate or master's degrees nearly 50 people, 6 master tutors.
